Karen Francesca James

Karen Francesca James is a self-taught artist whose work illustrates a multi-faceted view of the human body. The human form constantly inspires James’ work and her pieces convey a sense of emotion and life.

For Cerulean Gallery’s “An Eye Full” exhibition James will introduce a new series of paintings. The Thinker series consists of several pieces that feature a sculpture-like human form in serene settings. The pieces evoke a spiritual intrigue and highlight James’ talented use of color and textures.

Cerulean Gallery will also exhibit several of James’ popular abstract personalities that feature out of proportion, Picasso-style feet. These pieces are known to inspire happy feelings and laughter.

The exhibition will also showcase two of James’ outdoor abstract paintings. The pieces are treated to withstand harsh weather conditions for displaying outdoors. For art lovers the pieces are an opportunity to display their collection on a patio or even poolside. The outdoor paintings are a popular conversation piece.
