“Inner Section” is a mirror that reflects a spiritual symbiosis of art and life.

“Inner” means a personal experience of connecting to one’s inner source with reverence. This source guides one to a deeper perception of serenity and balance while recognizing its fragile strength.

“Sections” is applied to each of my pieces by creating different rooms, each with a song to enhance your engagement with the work through sound.

My art is an intuitive, slow and steady revealing process like an archeological dig where something hidden is brought out from darkness into the light. I build bridges between the inner and outer worlds by merging 2 dimensional images with 3 dimensional object and textures. The journey of “Inner Sections” is navigated through a sequence of listening, becoming quiet, then being still. Your connections to my pieces of “Inner Sections” will grow like spiritual crystals into the physical manifestation of my constructions.

Suspend your need to label what an image or found object may have been in a past incarnation and be open to its transformation into the final integration of its position in an “Inner Section” room. In reusing things that would be discarded, one can capture parts of one’s inner self to be nurtured and healed.

Respect your insights that connect you to my paintings or constructions in this exhibition. A reaction is in essence a connection and is more revealing your own inner self than my own intentions in creating these constructions.
