LIZ LONDON
Born to two artists on the cusp of Rock and Roll Age and the Rat Pack, through the forces of nature and her transformational path, Liz has come to use her creative energies in an innovative way.
Her artist’s journey began with basic childhood classical art instruction on the weekends through teenage years and then continued as she worked for her parent’s contract interior design firm at vary early age as a painter, art buyer, and framer. She has been remained involved in the creative process ever since.
After working in the Communications and Technology for years she realized that her inner passion for art had led her to a ‘return’ where it facilitated deep spiritual changes or a ‘cathartic’ experiences that could be expressed in colors and symbolism. Liz realized that she could learn and grow through her connections to the essence of her own creativity.
London States, “Creating is an in the moment and meditative like prayer process, believing that all life is creating and every thought is a choice to create and recreate.” Liz’s desire is that when an individual observes her art they receive a ‘message from inside’ depending upon what they need to learn from or see from in relationship to where they have been, what they are going through at present, or a glimpse into their future at this point on their journey.
Liz has lived on both U.S. coasts and currently resides in Dallas, TX.
Liz London has created a new process with her core medium of acrylic collage, found objects in assemblages and all forms of mixed media.
Liz’s holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Public Relations. She has studied painting with Dorothy Moses, B.J. White and Carolyn Barnes and sculpture with Mark Briscoe. She has shown in juried exhibitions and in galleries throughout Oklahoma, Arizona, Texas and Florida
