| Robert A. Harris Robert A.Harris, Jr. M.D., F.A.C.P. graduated from Vanderbilt University with a degree in Molecular Biology in 1972. He attended the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas and obtained an M.D. degree in 1976. He spent three years at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston completing his internship and residency in Internal Medicine. He is an attending physician at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas and has been the head of the Internal Medicine section at the North Dallas Rehabilitation Hospital from 1988 until 2006. He has been involved with photography for over 20 years and has spent substantial time documenting the flora of White Rock Lake area, the Dallas arboretum and his backyard. Traveling has provided him with other subjects. He has won the occasional award at several photo contests and the State Fair of Texas. His photos have appeared on many covers of the Dallas Medical Journal and have also been appeared in Shutterbug, Texas Medicine and The New England Journal of Medicine. As a family member has Cystic Fibrosis, he donates the proceeds from many of his photos to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Proceeds form this exhibition will be donated to the CF Foundation. |
