Suzanne Fuqua

The West and Southwest's vibrant character, bold tone and engaging nature infuse themselves into Suzanne's work through her unique and beautiful integration of bold flavored colors and inspired brush stokes.  Suzanne's portraits capture the lives and personality of her focus, as though they were caught in a stationary trice of time, while still exuding every element of the
subjects spirited nature.
Suzanne showed an early talent for art and at the age of 13 she ventured into the realm of award winning artists placing first at the state fair of Texas. Suzanne
studied with artist Florence Burgess of Dallas and famed portrait artist Demitri Vail. She furthered her studies to receive a BA degree from Baylor University.
Her works (both commissioned and non) stand vigorously solid within many private collections and is retained in permanent collections and galleries in Taos,
Dallas and Phoenix.

Suzanne and her husband, Gerry Riedy, reside in Phoenix AZ; Toas, NM and San Diego, CA. To date, Suzanne continues to beautifully portray and depict life
