SUSAN SCOTT

Susan Scott, MSG, BSN, RN graduated from: University of Texas in Austin with a degree in nursing, Baylor University with a Masters of Science in Gerontolgy, and is the process of finishing her PhD at TWU.

Susan has always thought that the practice of good medicine is an art and the practice of art is good medicine, nourishing the soul of both the artist and the audience.

Susan is the Grand Prize Winner Judges Choice Park Cities Presbyterian Church Juried Arts Festival” and  “2008 Peoples Choice Park Cities Presbyterian Church Arts Festival”.  The Jurors were Patricia Meadows and the Kimbell Museum art curator Ted Pillsbury.

“My joy in creating works of art comes from taking a thought and applying it to the abstract world of color, form, texture, with unique media applications.  Each work of art becomes alive in itself.  Whenever I am creating, I feel closer to The Creator and my imagination then reaches heights greater than I could ever attain alone.”
